WHELAN (Lt. Col. John BDS) (Glenageary, died May 24, 2004) - Rita (Burt), Paul, Marc CSSp, Olwyn and their families, thank all who sympathised, consoled and supported us, on our great loss of John. Thank you to all who attended the removal, funeral Mass, telephoned, and sent cards, letters, and donations to the Wheelchair Association, and for the support of dear friends, we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to Fr Pat Mangan PP, St Michael's, Dun Laoghaire, Fr Pat Palmer CSSp and his confreres in Kimmage Manor and Blackrock College, and to Fr Liam Tracey, who concelebrated Mass with Marc; to the Army Medical & Dental Corps and to ICOS representatives, and to those whose addresses we were unable to get. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
