MURTAGH Ber (who died on September 21, 2007, late of Mylestown, Killucan, Co. Westmeath) - Bers' wife Helen, daughter Vivienne, his brothers and sisters wish to express their deep appreciation and sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss of a loving husband, dad and brother. We were overwhelmed with the large numbers who attended the Funeral Ceremonies. To our neighbours and friends and all who called to our home, your kindness and generosity in our time of grief was a great source of comfort and consolation to us. To the many people who travelled from all parts of Ireland to the removal and funeral and to the people who were unable to gain access to St. Camillus Centre on the evening of Bers' removal. To those who sent Mass Cards, perpetual enrolments, letters and sympathy cards. To Fr. Monks and the Staff of St. Camillus Nursing Centre. To Fr. Mathews, Fr. Smith and Fr. Darby who concelebrated Bers' Funeral Mass. To Brendan Ennis undertaker for his courteous and professional service. To those who participated in the forming of the Guards of Honour, Bers' work colleagues, Killucan Football Club, Raharney Hurling Club and Westmeath United Coursing Club. To the Representatives from Westmeath G.A.A., Mullingar Greyhound Stadium and Irish Coursing Club Clonmel. To His business acquaintances and members of the Farming Community to which he was so closely associated. To the Gardai from Killucan, Kinnegad and Mullingar Stations who organised the Traffic Management and to the team of Volunteers who assisted them. To the Wren Boys for the musical tribute in the graveyard. To Dick and Helena and their wonderful team of workers who provided the catering for so many people in Killucan Hall after the Funeral. Bers' presence among us is sorely missed and the absence of his inspiring and the uplifting spirit leaves a void that can never be overcome. As it is not possible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.Solas na Bhflaitheas da Anam
