O'KANE (Fr. Denis P.P.) (Donabate and formerly Stranorlar, Co Donegal) (Died July 14, 2007) - His brother, sisters, nieces and nephews would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on the death of Fr Denis. In particular, we would like to thank the priests and parishioners of St. Patrick's, Donabate and especially his housekeeper Freddie for their kindness to him in recent years as he became more infirm. To all who attended the funeral ceremonies in Dublin and Donegal, sent Mass Cards and the many letters of sympathy, we are very grateful. We thank all his fellow priests who concelebrated the funeral ceremonies especially Cardinal Desmond Connell, the Most Rev. Raymond Fields DD and Right Rev Monsignor Owen Cannon Sweeney for their lovely words of tribute and comfort. Special thanks too to Fr. Aquinas Duffy. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our great appreciation for your kindness. Mass has been offered for all your intentions.
