Remembering Mark

Mark was such a fun part of growing up for me - a unique, wonderful, mischevious, creative mind, always curious about the world around him, always up to something new and interesting. He will be greatly, greatly missed.

Eanna Hickey

Thoughts on Mark

Mark spent so much time with me as a kid, teaching me about Motorbikes and The Doors. I'll always remember the mischievous glint when he had an idea for some new gadget or invention, especially his zany homemade bicycles. A truly amazing brain, a unique and special guy. My condolences to Mark's family and friends. So long neighbour.

Bikes made from bits of other bikes.....

Very shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news. Mark was a true original - warm, smart, incredibly creative and with a wicked sense of humour to boot! He was a great friend and confidante throughout our formative years and beyond. Always fixing old machines or inventing new ones, I can still see him cycling up and down our road on bikes made from bits of other bikes....

May he rest in peace.

Kieran O'Daly
