McMILLAN, Matthew (Co. Kildare and South Kensington, London). Died 1st of June 2008. On the occasion of the first anniversary of Matthew's death, his wife Ann and children Matthew, Heather, Drew, Peter, Cameron, Doon, Susan, Caroline, his daughters-in-law Marie and Moire, his sons-in-law Peter, Brian, Chris, Andrew and his beloved seventeen grandchildren (especially Finn his youngest grandchild), would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their very sad loss. We would also like to thank most sincerely, all those who attended his removal, all those who attended his funeral, all those who sent Mass cards, all those who sent beautiful letters, and all those who sent beautiful flowers. A special thank you to Fr. Gerry Cushen for making the funeral Mass such a unique celebration of Matthew's life, and to Ceiline Byrne for her wonderful singing, and to Frank Kirk "the piper" for the stunning scottish lament. A special thank you also to Dr. Singh and all the staff at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. We are eternally grateful for all the many kindnesses shown to us at the time of Matthew's death, it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, as Matthew was a much loved man, the kindnesses shown to us were numerous and befitting of a man who led a very good life. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our most sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all your intentions."Bottler, we love you, we miss you".
