SHANLEY (Tom) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Acres, Bornacoola, Co Leitrim) - Tom's wife Mary and his family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. To all who called to our house, attended the funeral, sent Mass cards and to those who donated to the Irish Cancer Society, we are most grateful. To the Shanley and Gardiner families, to all our friends and to our neighbours in Ardlui Park, a very big thanks for all your help and support during Tom's illness and also over the time of his funeral. We will always remember your kindness. A special thanks to Fr Ciaran Shanley who cut short his holiday to be with us to celebrate Tom's funeral Mass. Thanks also to the priests of Foxrock Parish, Blackrock College and Kimmage Manor. Finally to the doctors, nurses and staff of St Vincent's Private Hospital; we greatly appreciate the kindness and care you showed to Tom. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
