MORRISSEY, John - The family of the late John Morrissey who died on the 27th of July wish to extend heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. To all those who visited our home, sent Mass cards, letters, floral tributes, phone calls, all those who attended the removal from his home, the funeral Mass and the burial, especially those who travelled long distances. A special thank you is extended to the following: M™nsignor Byrne, Fr. Gerry Byrne, Fr. Aughney and Fr. Howard who concelebrated Mass, and the large number of priests who attended his funeral. Cis and Mark Carpenter, funeral directors for their kindness and professionalism. Michael English, Regina Hanley and the Tullow Choir for their beautiful music. Michael and Alec O'Leary for playing John's favourite piece of music. Christy O'Connor for his lovely words at the graveside. The Captains and Presidents of Mount Wolseley for their Guard of Honour. The Garda Síochána for directing traffic. To the staff in Mount Wolseley for a beautiful meal. Our wonderful relatives and neighbours whose help, support and kindness carried us through our difficult time. The ambulance driver and Peter, the staff in Kilkenny Hospital especially Dr Carroll and Nurse Oliva for their kindness. His great friends Dr Gerry and Miriam Moran for their ongoing support. His twin brother Donal and his family who shares his loss as much as us. We will be forever grateful. And finally to our wonderful staff in Morrissey's Medical Hall. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all with our sincere appreciation and gratitude. As a token of our appreciation the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. The Month's Mind Mass for John will be celebrated on Friday, August 28th in Grange Church at 8.00pm.
