BRENNAN, Walter, Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin (died May 4, 2009) - Walter's wife, Regina, his daughters and sons, Maria, Walter, Patrick, Andrew, Jamie and Rachel, his sister Mary and brother Maurice and all of our families would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us and supported us in our sadness and loss. Thank you to all who visited the house, attended the removal, the funeral Mass and burial. Thank you for all the Perpetual Enrolments, Mass and sympathy cards, letters, visits, flowers, gifts and acts of kindness. A special thanks to all who contributed so generously to the Blackrock Hospice and the Kidney Association. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who cared for Walter - the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Luke's and the Beacon Hospitals, Dr. Fergus Mason, Conor, Rosarie and Lorna in Doran's Pharmacy, the H.S.E. nurses, the Blackrock Hospice Homecare team, especially Margaret and Kira and also his friend Sr. Sheila. The family are very grateful to Fr. Jim Tormey for his pastoral care and friendship, especially during Walter's illness. Thank you to Fr. Alex Conlan P.P. and Fr. Joseph Gavigan who concelebrated the Mass with Fr. Jim, officiated at the graveside, to the sacristans Maura, Mary and Len, and to David and Barry for the very special Mass booklets. Thanks to Neal Massey for his courteous and professional handling of the funeral and burial arrangements, to the Gospel Choir for their beautiful music and to James Killeen for his wonderful saxophone playing during Mass and at the graveside. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for all of your intentions.
