WHITNEY (Padraig) (Cork, late of Cavan and Roscommon) (Died July 9, 2008) - On his First Anniversary Padraig's family would like to thank our friends, family, neighbours, former colleagues and associates for your support, kindness and sympathy since his illness was diagnosed, at his passing and during this year. We were unable to reply to all of you who wrote and phoned, and wish now to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the letters, Mass Cards and the memories of Padraig that you shared with us. Sincere thanks to his sensitively expert Medical teams in the Neurology and Oncology Departments in C.U.H.; to all in Marymount Hospice - words cannot adequately express how your care of Padraig so consoled us during his final weeks of life. A special thank you to Padraig's brothers Frs Ciaran and Séamus and the concelebrating clergy who conducted such a poignantly evocative Requiem. Mass will be offered for your intentions.
