SMYTH

SMYTH (Sutton and Lismore, died November 12, 2007) - On this the Months Mind of Gerard's, death his parents Thomas C. and Patricia, loving brothers Joseph and T.C. and sister Treasa, thank all who supported and sympathised with them during his illness and on and since his death. A very particular thanks to those friends at home and abroad who stayed in touch with him and encouraged him throughout his illness. He as we did, greatly valued the visit's at house and in hospital of those special friends who could (some from great distances) came to see him. For the many messages of sympathy, Mass Cards and flowers, a tribute to Gerard's courage, generosity of spirit and gentleness. We express our sincere gratitude to Fr. Joseph Whelan C.C. (assisted by Monsignor J.V. Fitzpatrick P.P.) who celebrated the funeral Mass and to all who attended it. Please know it was a great comfort to us the bereaved. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. To those of the dedicated doctors and nurses in the Mater Private Hospital who did care and attend on Gerard throughout his illness and particularly his final illness.
