O'CONNELL (John) (Retired Garda) (Mount Hamilton, Ardee Road, Dundalk) - His wife Jean, sons, daughters and family, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sent Mass cards, letters of sympathy and floral tributes, those who attended removal, Mass and funeral and those who called personally to his home to convey their sympathy, also all who travelled to be with us. A special word of thanks to the Clergy who officiated at the ceremony, the doctors, nurses and staff, I.C.U., Louth Hospital and the Oncology Dept., Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for their kindness, his fellow members Redeemer Choir, also his fellow colleagues who provided a Guard of Honour, and the Garda Siochana who escorted the funeral procession. We would like to thank all our neighbours and friends for their support, and who helped in every way possible. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.Month's Mind Mass will be offered Sunday, February 20 at 11.30 o'clock in Church of the Holy Redeemer.
