O'BRIEN (nee Dunkerley) Anita Mary - On January 3, 2008, at Forest Holme, Macmillan Hospice, Poole. Beloved wife of Brendan O'Brien and devoted and very dearly loved mother of Mark, Sarah and their families. An irreplaceable loss to her darling twin sister Patricia Bonelli-Dunkerley and her family. During the 1960's in Dublin, Anita, a Violinist and her sister were members of the RTESO (Forerunner of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland) and after her husband's appointment as leader of the Bournemouth Symphony in 1968 she became active in Dorset's musical life, both as a performer and much loved teacher of countless violin pupils. Requiem Mass will take place at the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady Immaculate, Seamoor Road, Westbourne, Bournemouth on Friday January 18 at 11.OO o'clock followed by cremation at Bournemouth Crematorium at 12.30 o'clock Family flowers only please but donations if desired for Cancer Research UK may be sent to W.
