KEVILLE (Michael) (Firhouse and formerly of Annaduff, Co. Leitrim) - Therese, Michael, Gerard, Paul and David extend a sincere thank you to our family and friends for all the love and support you gave us during Mick's passing and for continuing to be a source of comfort and strength as we grieve the loss of a very special husband and dad. We appreciate very much the numerous Masses, everlasting gifts, letters, phone calls and floral tributes we received. Thank you to all who travelled from near and far to be with us, to all who called to our home for Mick's wake and shared special memories and stories with us and to all who attended his removal, funeral Mass and burial. We especially say thank you to An Taoiseach Bertie Ahern for your representation and Mick's retired colleagues and serving members of An Garda Síochána. Your large attendance, the escort provided and the salute given paid a fine tribute to Mick's long and proud service in the force. A very special thank you to all who participated in Mick's removal and funeral Mass and for making it a very moving and memorable celebration of his life. We particularly thank our parish priest Fr Paddy Madden, curate Fr Padraig Coleman O.F.M. and family friends Monsignor John Delaney and Fr Brendan McPartlin S.J., singer Chris McInerney and organist John Brady. A very special thank you to musicians Paul McGrattan and Alan Doherty for the lovely traditional airs at both removal and funeral and Peter Phelan for the graveside lament. We also include staff and pupils of Scoil Treasa Firhouse for your Guard of Honour. We sincerely appreciate the reception we received by all in Ballyboden St Enda's GAA Club and the lovely meal so welcoming after Mick's burial. Thanks to Ned Slattery, Paddy Brady and staff. Thank you most sincerely to Dr Kevin McPartlin and Dr Declan Lyons for your loving care and attention to Mick over the years and to the medical nursing and pastoral care teams in Tallaght hospital for your excellent support and care during Mick's short stay with you. Finally to Paddy, Shane, Berry, Joseph and Marie and our very dear friends and neighbours who nourished and cared for us during Mick's repose at home and to all who over the years have been so loyal and true. You all hold a special place in our hearts. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.Codladh Sámh
agus suaimhneach Mick".
