BROWNE, Gerard (Rathfarnham, Dublin) (died October 8, 2007) -On Gerry's First Anniversary, his wife Eileen, daughter Niamh, sons Daragh and Cormac, brother Paddy and our extended family would like to offer our deepest and most sincere gratitude to the many relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues who supported us and sympathised with us on our loss one year ago. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended the removal, church services and burial. We were overwhelmed by the support, good wishes, phone calls, Mass cards, flowers, donations and other messages of sympathy: we send our sincere thanks for your immeasurable support. We thank those who cared for Gerard, and the family, through his short illness and also at the time of his transplant. We are indebted to his colleagues: Doctors, Nurses, Chaplains and staff at Beaumont Hospital ICU and CCU and at St Vincent's Liver Unit. We particularly thank Father Micheál O'Neill and the priests, friends and teachers at Terenure College, and the musicians and singers for the celebration of the very comforting Funeral Services and for the warmth of your Month's Mind Mass in the Lady Chapel. Thanks also to Fanagan's Funeral Directors and their staff for such a discrete and professional service, and to the staff at Bohernabreena Cemetery. As it would not be possible to thank everybody individually who supported us, please accept this as a token of our warmest appreciation and sincerest gratitude to you all. Gerry's First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday October 26 at Terenure College Church at 12 Midday.
