WHYTE, Ray (Retired Colonel) (formerly of Broadfield, Naas and Glanmire, Cork) - On August 13, 2009, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital, dearly loved husband of the late Rita and loving father of Cliona and Ciara; sadly missed by his loving daughters, sons-in-law Peter and Philip, grandson Fionn, sister-in-law Pat, brother-in-law Ted and his wife Helen, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Barry Bros Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire. Removal on this (Friday) evening to St Joseph's Church, Springhill, arriving at 7.30 o'clock Requiem Mass at 12.15 o'clock on tomorrow (Saturday) in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballycane, Naas. Funeral afterwards to St Corban's Cemetery, Naas."May he rest in peace".
