O'DEA (Noreen) (née Whelan) (Limerick) (Died August 31, 2007) - Tony, Catherine, Shane, Emma and Adrian, her sister Cora and all the family would like to thank all those who expressed sympathy by attending the funeral, sending Mass cards, letters and flowers and who in other ways offered kindness and support. We would like to especially thank Fr. D.O'Malley and Canon Connellan, Noreen's G.P Dr. Paul O'Sullivan, the doctors, nurses and staff at the Mid West Regional Hospital and the Matron and staff of Riverdale Nursing Home where Noreen spent her last four months. Her neighbours and former teaching colleagues were also very faithful to her, along with the members of her retirement club who provided a guard of honour at her removal. She taught for many years at Ballynanty Girls School and it was a great consolation to see a guard of honour provided by the young girls on the day of her burial. We would like to thank the Principal, staff and the girls of the school. Noreen would have been very proud. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions
