FARRELLY (Rev. Fr Séamus) (formerly Parish Priest of Carndonagh, Co. Donegal and sometime Vice President of St Columb's College, Derry) - October 25, 2008, after a long illness borne with patience, dignity and courage, in the gentle and attentive care of the doctors and nurses in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin; deeply regretted by his loving sister Maureen (Porter), brother Laurence and brother-in-law Billy, nieces Jennifer (Porter), Lauren (Marra) her husband David and daughter Blathín, Gráinne (Deacon) her husband William and son Sam, Jennifer (Donaldson) and her husband Derek and Aoife, nephews James (Porter) and his wife Olga and Geoffrey (Porter), his relatives and friends, also by his devoted housekeeper Rita; he will be sadly missed by Bishop Séamus Hegarty, Assistant Bishop Francis Lagan and retired Bishop Edward Daly, by his colleagues in the priesthood and by his former parishioners and students. Removal following prayers in Beaumont Hospital Mortuary chapel today (Monday) at 10.30 o'clock to the Church of The Sacred Heart, Carndonagh, arriving at 4.30 o'clock Funeral Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Carndonagh Cemetery.Requiescat in pace.
