WHELAN (née Sweeney) (Mary) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) (Passed away peacefully on August 15, 2007) - The family of the late Mary Whelan express heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us, particularly those who travelled long distances. We are comforted by your expressions of love and regret. Our gratitude also goes to the doctors, nurses and carers who looked after Mary so well. "Christ came to assure us of life after death, that we are not cut off from those we love who have died" (G.L.). Our continuing appreciation of the pastoral care given by all the priests of Foxrock Parish, especially Fr. John Bracken who celebrated the funeral Services. Thank you for attending, sending Mass Cards, messages of sympathy, floral tributes and donations to Blackrock Hospice. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered in Thanksgiving for all your kindness and support. Trusting that this acknowledgement will be acceptable as a token of our appreciation."Ar dheis láimh Dé go raibh a hanam dílis"
