FURNEY (née Finlay) (Howth Summit, Co. Dublin) - June 11, 2008, Aileen Catherine (peacefully), at home surrounded by her family, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Beloved wife of Mervyn and much loved Mum of Simon and Penny; sadly missed by her brother Alan, sister Noelene Brown, goddaughter Alison and niece Deirdre in Cape Town, son-in-law David O'Brien, relatives and friends. Many thanks to Dr. Ian Fraser and his team at St. Luke's Hospital Rathgar, the St. Francis Hospice Raheny, Palliative Care Team and The Irish Cancer Society night nurses. Funeral Service tomorrow (Friday) at 11 o'clock in St. Mary's Church Deerpark, Howth, followed by burial at St. Fintan's Cemetery Sutton. Family flowers only.
