FITZGERALD (Glenard Crescent, Salthill, Galway and formerly Castlerea, Co. Roscommon) - January 20, 2009 (peacefully) after a short illness with his family at University Hospital, Galway), Dr. James; dearly beloved husband of Margaret and much loved father of Patrick, Mary, Sheamus, Joseph, Niamh, Kevin, Noel and Kieran; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons and daughters, brothers, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue today (Thursday) from 3 p.m. with Removal at 4 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Funeral after 11 o'clock Mass tomorrow (Friday) to Rahoon Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations to St. Vincent de Paul society.May he rest in peace.
