O'HEHIR (Williamstown, Waterford and formerly Clonea Power, Co. Waterford) - Emmet, who died suddenly and tragically on September 14, 2008 while on holidays in Italy. On the occasion of the First Anniversary of Emmet's death, his wife Ciara, mother Marge, sisters Fiona and Siobhan, brothers Ciaran and Fearghal wish to thank most sincerely all those who have sympathised and comforted them in their grief during and since their heartbreaking loss. We express our deep appreciation and will never forget those who assisted Ciara in Italy at the time of the tragedy, all those who called to Emmet and Ciara's family homes, attended the rosary, funeral Mass and burial, sent Mass Cards and enrolments, letters, floral tributes and all other messages of sympathy and support. A special thanks to Father Michael Curran PP Clonea and Rathgormack for his compassionate and comforting words at the funeral Mass, to the family and friends who read and spoke at the Mass, to Madeleine Doherty for the beautiful music and singing and to the Clonea and Rathgormack GAA clubs for their guard of honour. Sincere thanks also to Joanne King at the Irish Embassy in Rome and Darragh Walsh, Walsh Funeral Directors, Carrick-On-Suir for their assistance in bringing Emmet home to his final resting place. Finally we would like to acknowledge and express our heartfelt thanks to all the family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues who continue to support us every day, we are so deeply grateful for your ongoing friendship and kindness. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation. A special Mass will be offered for your intentions. Deeply beloved husband, son, brother, friend. You lit up our lives. Loved, remembered and missed with all our hearts forever.
