HAMILTON (Andrew) (Died March 18, 2006) - The entire family circle of the late Andrew Hamilton (Newtownstewart and Dublin) would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. We would like to express our deep appreciation for all the help, support and comfort from friends, relatives and neighbours. A special word of thanks to Andrew's colleagues in the Irish Times, his motoring colleagues and all those many friends who travelled the length and breadth of Ireland and from further afield to attend his funeral. Thanks also to the staff of the Cardiac Ward, Craigavon Area Hospital for their expert care and attention to Andrew, to our minister the Rev. Harry Hall for his words of comfort in the home and at the funeral service. Sincere thanks also to the organist for his uplifting music and to the undertakers Houston and Robert Dillon for their care, comfort and professionalism at all times. A special word of thanks to the ladies of the Mothers Union who provided a delicious and very welcome tea in the Parish Hall after the funeral; it was much appreciated, especially by those who had travelled long distances. Sincere thanks also to all those people who called at the home, sent letters and cards or contributed to the Chest, Heart and Stroke Association. We are very aware that the sudden loss of Andrew extends far beyond our family circle and we have been deeply touched by the care and support offered from all sources. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this will be accepted as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.
