<p>O&#39;DONOVAN (Howth) - May 14, 2010 (peacefully) in his sleep surrounded by his adoring family at the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin; Fred beloved husband of Sally, loving father of Fiona, Sally Ann, Penny and Freddie and devoted grandad to Jack, Katie, Sarah and Anna; sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, grandchildren, brother Bill, extended family, relatives and a large circle of friends. Rest in peace. Removal on Monday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Howth arriving at 11.20 o&#39;clock for 11.30 o&#39;clock Mass and thence Funeral to Fingal Cemetery, Balgriffin. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.&quot;Tread softly for you tread on my dreams&quot;</p>

<p>Thank you Fred for my first professional start.</p> <p>Thank you Fred for making me Music Director of "Irish Eyes are Smiling" at the Great Southern Hotel in Killarney. I spent 4 wonderful years there before moving on to the USA, where I presently live. May you rest in peace. J.J.Sheridan.</p>

<p>Oh How We Will Miss You Dear Fred</p> <p>Dear Fred:</p> <p>Key Biscayne will never be the same without your lovely presence. We are so glad we met you and shared our winters with you and Sally. I am picturing you entertaining Mom Murray and Martha and so many of your other fans now in heaven.
