SWAN, Brendan (Late of Lobinstown Co. Meath and Ranelagh, Dublin 6) - 23rd April 2009, after a short illness, in St Vincent's University Hospital. Dearest husband and best friend of Anna. Beloved father of Conor, Ciara and Sinead. Adoring grandfather to Emma, Emily, Isabelle, Patrick and Claudia. Much loved brother of Sr. Eithne, Rev. Colm, Desmond, Nuala, Kevin and the late Leo. Adored by his daughter-in-law Valerie and sons-in-law James and Brian. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, many friends and fellow forty footers. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Aungier Street. Funeral next Monday after 12 o'clock Mass in the Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood Avenue, Ranelagh and thence to Mount Jerome Crematorium. Meath) Died 23rd April 2009 - On the First Anniversary of Brendan's death, Anna, Conor, Ciara and Sinead would like to thank most sincerely all those who offered kindness and support during Brendan's illness. To all those who attended the funeral Mass, to those who sent Mass cards, letters and flowers. To Brendan's brother, Fr. Colm, his Rev. friends and Fr. Ivor Egan who concelebrated the Mass. To our extended families for all their help and support. To the Norris and the McGowan families, to Carole and all our friends for their love and practical help. To Lynda Lee for her beautiful singing. To the Rev. Bernard Kennedy P.P., Church of the Holy Name, Beechwood for his kindness to Brendan and for his help to the visiting clergy.
