McVEIGH (Athlone and Donegal) - November 5, 2008, peacefully, after a short illness, borne with dignity, in the care of the staff of the Mater Private Oncology Department, Derek Andrew Joseph, District Justice, Glasson, Athlone and formerly of Letterkenny, beloved husband of Frances and cherished father and friend of Joe, Conor, Paul and Stephen and dearest brother of Stephanie; sadly missed by his loving family, relatives, many friends and legal colleagues. R.I.P. Reposing at his residence today (Thursday). Requiem Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 11 o'clock in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Tubberclaire with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Friday. No flowers please. Donations welcome to the Mater Cancer Research Fund or St Joseph's Young Priests' Society."Ad Maiorem Dei Gloriam".
