McGUINNESS Larry (died February 7, 2010) - As we approach what would have been Larry's 62nd birthday (November 16th), Eileen, Gerard, Eamon, Bobby and Sinéad wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in our bereavement, all who called to the house for the wake, all who came to the Mass and Burial, those who sent cards and letters of sympathy. We would particularly like to thank Fr. Dermot Nestor for his deeply moving and personal service. Thank you to all our friends who worked so hard at the wake and the days leading up to it. We could not have got through this time without your great support. Special thanks to Larry's friends and colleagues who visited and supported him during his illness, particularly those who visited him while he was in hospital. The visitors and well-wishers really lifted his spirits and gave him great heart during that very difficult time. Thank you to the staff and students of Colaiste Choilm, we were very touched by both guards of honour at the church and at the school, it really was a great tribute to him. Finally, thank you to our very loyal friends who have continued to support us during this very difficult year. "And all I've done for want of wit,
to memory now I can't recall.
So fill me to the parting glass.
Goodnight and joy be with you all"
