HAMILTON (Patrick) (Paddy) (Bray, April 15, 2007) - On this the first anniversary of Paddy's death, his daughter Deirdre, son-in-law Terry (Lynskey) and all his family would like to acknowledge and thank all those who sympathised with us in our sad loss. We thank those who travelled long distances to be with us, attended the funeral Mass, burial, sent Mass cards, sympathy letters, perpetual enrolments, telephoned and gave donations to the Oncology Unit, Blackrock Clinic. We thank all those who cared for Paddy during his illness. Thank you to Dr. David Fennelly, Blackrock Clinic and the truly wonderful staff in the Florence Nightingale Unit and the Oncology Day Care Unit, your kindness, gentleness and dignity shown to Paddy helped us enormously and will not be forgotten. Thank you to the Chaplin, Fr. Gerry Byrne whose kindly manner and good humour Paddy enjoyed. Thank you to Fr. George Begley, Most Holy Redeemer, Bray for all his visits to Paddy both at home and in hospital. Thank you to Fr. Pat Carroll, Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook for his gentle prayers and anointing of Paddy at short notice and for a wonderful Mass. To Shay Ryan for his beautiful singing and to all those who partook in the ceremony. Thank you to Dr. John McManus, G.P. for his kind, gentle and sensitive attention to Paddy. A special thank you to Sue, Lawlors Pharmacy, Bray for her loyalty to Paddy and expert help to us. Thank you to T. Murphy Undertakers, Bray for their sensitivity and understanding and to all the staff in Dean's Grange Cemetery. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions."May he Rest in Peace"
