VENABLES (Ty-Gwyn, Blacklion, Greystones) - April 15, 2010, after a brave battle, in the sweet and tender care of the very special staff at the Blackrock Hospice, in the arms of his girls, John, beloved husband of the late Veronica (Ronnie) (née Martin) and adored Dad of Laura, Roisín, Aisling and Siobhán, loving granpa (Grumps) to Alanagh, Aoife, John, Otto, Ruben, Lola and Felix, brother-in-law and dear friend to Laura and Eamon; sadly missed by his sons-in-law Cíarán, Bruce and James who loved him; deeply regretted by his sisters Mary and Celia, brother Michael, nieces, nephews and extended family, lastly but certainly not least by his many, many loyal and close friends who meant so very much to him, and whom he loved. It's a lovely day to go up. Reposing at Patrick O'Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Ormonde Centre, Victoria Road, Greystones. Removal on Monday to the Church of The Holy Rosary, Greystones, arriving at 12 noon. Funeral on Tuesday morning after 10 o'clock Mass to Redford Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
