CAHILL, Tom (Springfield, Kilcullen Road, Naas, Co. Kildare) - Dear child of Eamonn Cahill and Mary Glennon. Tom gently left this world at 8.15 o'clock on Sunday, July 5 in the arms of his beloved Jess (Halligan), his brother Andrew and sister Hannah. Forever loved and missed by his aunts and uncles, Glennons, Bryants and Cahills and his wonderful gang of cousins especially David, Jane, Peter, Anna and Fiona and friends including Jamie and John, Maggie and Linda, Chupi and Val, Brian, Conor, Philip, Simon, Jennifer, John and Mo who were there with Tom through two years of incredible courage and bravery as he fought a cruel illness. Also Tom's friend Paddy Halligan who welcomed Tom into his little family. We will always be grateful for the love and kindness of friends and the unswerving support of the Oncology team in Naas Hospital and Tallaght Hospital and the serene and gracious skill of Janice Walsh who supported Tom all the way on his difficult journey. Thank to his special friend Maire and to Carmel and Sheila who came with us on the final path. All our kind and wonderful friends and those of Tom, Andrew and Hannah are welcome to the house until we bring Tom to the Church of the Irish Martyrs at Ballycane, Naas on Tuesday, July 7 for Funeral Mass at 11am for our final farewell. Burial afterwards at St. Corban's Cemetery, Naas. Donations in lieu of flowers to the St. Brigid's Hospice, the Curragh."May he rest in peace".
