Loss of a Caregiver

John was my classmate and we shared a small house together in Mourne Rd Drimnagh, Autumn 76. Always kind and generous, he would give or share willingly. We were perpetually broke and lived on Maxwell House instant coffee and Fig Rolls. Later spent many a night crashed on the floor of john's flat at 4 Upper Leeson Street. It was the unofficial headquarters for the class. John was the only person who ever seemed to have his head together during those times, and the flat was a little refuge for many of us. I later went to Atlantic City one summer and John was there at the center of things. I remember him taking care of a very sick medical student who needed to be repatriated. Later I did some locum work for him in Bamberbridge, and many years later spent a memorable weekend with John at a dental convention in Las Vegas. So many good memories. John was a good man. Sympathy to his family, John Conry Duluth Minnesota USA

John P

John P, as we all knew him, was one of a kind. John was a good friend to his mates. When we were at the DDH little happened without his involvement. His flat was the meeting place of the class and everybody was always welcome.
