CAREY (Clancy Road, Finglas) - We, the family of Mark Carey, who died on February 7, 2008, wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us in so many ways on the recent sad loss of our beloved Mark. We thank those who sent cards and floral tributes, those who travelled long distances to be with us and to say their own goodbyes, those who supported us during Mark's illness and continue to support us now, those who arrived while Mark was ill and stayed on after his burial and all those who cooked, cleaned and in any other way looked after all our needs during this sad time. We also thank all his friends and family who participated in Mark's wake, funeral, burial and his inevitable party afterwards. Our thanks go to Mr. Broe, Dr. Grogan, their respective teams and the nurses and staff of the Hardwicke and Hamilton Wards in Beaumont Hospital. To David Devoy, the Homecare Team from St. Francis' Hospice, Raheny and the Night Care Team from The Irish Cancer Society who all looked after Mark at home with dignity and respect. We would like to thank Fr. Pat Guckian, St. Canice's Church, Finglas, and a very special word of thanks to Fr. Declan Moriarty, for making Mark's funeral Mass a Celebration of his life and thus easing our pain. It's impossible to thank everybody individually and so we hope you will all accept this acknowledgement as a token of our warmest appreciation and gratitude.
