SWEENEY (Whitegate, Co. Cork and Loughrea, Galway) - On May 27, 2009, unexpectedly, in the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, Charles; sadly missed by his broken hearted wife, Anne, his sisters Margaret (O'Dwyer) and Mary (Callanan), his brothers Michael, Marcus and Gerard, sisters-in-law Irene, Maria and Joan (Barry), brother-in-law Tom Callanan, his nieces, nephews, his great friends and faithful pets (Mr Darcy and Cissy). Reposing at home from 4 p.m. today (Friday) followed by removal on this Friday evening at 8 p.m. to St Erasmus Church, Aghada. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 o'clock followed by cremation in the Island Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to R.N.L.I. Lifeboats, c/o Anne."He nothing knew of envy or of hate.
His soul was full of worth and honesty".
