DROOG (Dr Nico) (Castleconnell, Co. Limerick) (Died March 16, 2005) - On this, the Second Anniversary of Nico's death, we, Elmar, Elsa, Laura and Stephen wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported us in our huge loss. Our heartfelt thanks to those who attended the removal and funeral, especially those who travelled long distances, and to those who sent Mass Cards, letters and floral wreaths. To all our relatives, loyal friends, neighbours, work colleagues and patients for your continuous support, your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten. To the doctors and staff of Cork University Hospital, Milford Hospice and Nico's dear friend Dr Blanaid MacCurtain for their care and kindness; to Ahane GAA who formed the Guard of Honour, the students of Milford N.S., Laurel Hill Secondary School and Castleconnell Garda Siochána. We would like to thank most sincerely Nico's classmates from the Crescent College, Fr Frank O'Connor and Fr Jim Corkery who made the Liturgy so special; the priests of Castleconnell, Milford, Westbury and Fr Niall O'Neill S.J. who celebrated the funeral Mass, and to Patricia and Nuala for the beautiful music; Mr John Thompson, Funeral Director, for your attention to all details. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions."A wonderful man who epitomised
honour to thyself and to others."
