McQUAID (Dublin) - November 20, 2006, (peacefully) after a long illness borne with immense courage and good humour, Denis (in his 86th year), beloved husband of the late Mary, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin; President of the Tallaght Br. Pioneer Association, Recipient of the Lord Mayor of Dublin's Award for Bravery, 1954; sadly missed by his children John, Chris, Denis, Margie, Patricia, Antoinette and Gerard, sister Brigid, sister-in-law Margaret, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Removal from his residence to St Mary's Priory, Tallaght at 5 o'clock today (Tuesday). Burial following 11 o'clock Mass tomorrow (Wednesday) in Bohernabreena Cemetery.
