HAYES (John/Jack) (Bray) (Died unexpectedly, July 2, 2006) - Jack's wife Aveline, his children Aveline, Anthony, Deirdre, Jacqueline, Martin, Colm, Paul, Brian, Brendan, Nicola and the entire family circle would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on the sadness left by Jack's sudden passing. We are grateful to our wonderful neighbours and friends for their love and support, for their laughter and tears, for their great deeds and small jobs. To those of you who phoned or called to comfort us in our grief, and continue to do so, our heartfelt thanks. Thank you to all the staff of St Vincent's University Hospital, in particular the staff of St Anne's Ward, who regularly provided Jack with tender, sincere care, and to Dr Karen Murphy who treated Jack, not only as a patient, but with the love and regard of a dear friend. To all the staff of the Intensive Care Unit - we thank God for your kindness, care and support, allowing us the time to be with Jack during those last hours. Sincere thanks to Fr Finbarr Mullane and Fr Larry White for the comfort and kindness they brought during such difficult days. Thanks to Maureen and John who sang so beautifully, to Joe who accompanied them and to all who made Jack's Mass so special. So many of you kept vigil with us during those last days, travelled long distances to be with us, attended the funeral, sent cards, letters, Certificates of Enrolment in Mass Associations, Prayer Guilds and flowers. We are grateful to each and every one of you. Many thanks to Colliers Funeral Services for their courtesy, kindness and respect at such a sad and difficult time. Thank you to Bray Bowling Club for their Guard of Honour and to the Garda Síochána for their escort. We thank especially all those who made donations to St Anne's Ward/ Cancer Research. We will never forget your support and kindness. As it would be virtually impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep gratitude. You are in our thoughts and our hearts. Mass will be offered for all of your intentions. Finally, we thank God for Jack's lovely life, for the love we shared, for the kindness he brought to us all and for the belief, which we maintain, that we will all meet him again.
