WHELAN, Joan (née Magee) (Ballinteer), died January 12, 2010 - Brian, Stephen, Ian, Kirsten and Bryan would like to sincerely thank those who sympathised with us on the sad loss of our beloved Joan, those who sent cards, letters, messages and flowers, who visited our home, who attended the funeral Mass and cremation service, especially those who travelled long distances in difficult weather conditions. Thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours for their support and kindness. We will be forever grateful to Dr. Fennelly and Dr. Westrup and their dedicated staff at the Beacon Hospital for the attention, love and kindness shown to Joan throughout her illness. Sincere thanks to Fr. Simon Nolan and Fr. Martin Baxter of Gort Muire for their celebration of a beautiful and moving Funeral Mass and Fr. Ray Gahan of Tinahely for his attendance and prayers at our home when Joan was reposing. Thanks to Fanagans Funeral Directors for their professionalism and sensitivity, to the musicians for their beautiful music, and to the Parish Pastoral Council, Ballinteer for their kindness and support. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
