COURTNEY (John Vincent) ("Slieve Muire", 1, Glenard Road, Omagh, Co. Tyrone) - The children, Yvonne, Irene, Thomas, John, Marie, Garry, Eamonn and Arthur and family circle of the late Vincent Courtney thank all who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement, who travelled long distances, called to the house, telephoned, wrote condolence letters, sent floral tributes, Mass or sympathy cards. Our thanks to our kind neighbours, friends and relatives. We appreciated their presence and support in those difficult days. Our gratitude to Parke House Nursing Home, Kilcock, Co. Kildare and to Drumhaw Nursing Home, Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, for their kindness during Vincent's stay. A special thank you to Dr E. McMullan, Omagh, for his medical care and attention. Our thanks to all who attended the removal, the Requiem Mass and the burial, to Monsignor Donnelly, Fr Cunningham and Fr Kearns, who celebrated the Requiem Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Omagh; to Monsignor Donnelly for a touching Homily which honoured Vincent's life; to Paddy McLoone for his beautiful singing; to Mrs. Bradley, Organist; and to the choir, to Sean Taggart who offered prayers at the removal, to the Omagh police officers and to Paul Mohan, Undertaker, Rosslea, for handling all the funeral arrangements. The burial took place in St Macartan's Cemetery, Aghadrumsee, Rosslea, Co. Fermanagh, attended by a large gathering of mourners. Our thanks to Canon McQuaid who officiated and for his kind words about Vincent. We trust that this Courtney Family Acknow -ledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our thanks and gratitude. Vincent's Month's Mind Mass will be offered on Saturday August 19 at 8 p.m. in St Macartan's Church, Aghadrumsee, Rosslea, Co. Fermanagh.
