TAHENY (Dr Thomas Joseph) (Riverstown) - We, Vera, Dolores, Anne, Thomas, Jerome and Paul, brother Stephen, sister-in-law Francie, son-in-law James, daughters-in-law Catherine, Carmel and Barbara, his eight grandchildren, niece, and nephews express our deepest appreciation and gratitude for the support and help received at the death of Tommy. Your prayers, messages of sympathy and your presence at the church for his funeral and at the interment have been a great source of comfort and consolation to us. We thank most sincerely Fr A.B. Ó Shea for his spiritual support and celebration of the Eucharist for Tommy; also the many priests who concelebrated with him. Thank you to the sacristan Carmel, Church staff, Jane and her team and the Altar servers. A particular thanks to Jack, Aisling and Mary for their Heavenly song. Our appreciation to the Funeral Director Tommy for his professional service and also those who prepared the grave. Thank you to the Garda Siochána for their presence and help. Thank you to his wife's circle of relations and friends who have had Masses offered for the repose of his soul. Thank you to Dr M. Scully, Dr A. Murray, Dr N. Breslin, Sr Elizabeth and the nursing team for their wonderful home care. Special thanks to Jennie, Margaret and all our good neighbours and friends who kept the larder full and provided sustenance during those difficult days. As it would not be possible to thank everybody individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation. Masses will be offered for the intentions of all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for Tommy in the Church of The Sacred Heart, Riverstown at 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, April 23.
