RYAN (Terenure, Dublin 6W and formerly of Ardfinnan and Ballyslateen, Golden, Co. Tipperary) - August 12, 2011 (peacefully) in the loving and dignified care of the staff at Acorn Lodge, Cashel. Betty; beloved sister of the late Frank, Jack, Pauline (Wall) and Carrie. Deeply regretted by her loving brother Michael, sisters-in-law Pauline and Betty, her many nieces, nephews, relatives and wonderful friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing at Devitt's Funeral Parlour, Cashel this (Saturday) evening from 5.30pm with Removal at 7.30pm to St. John The Baptist Church, Cashel. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Sunday) at 12 noon followed by Burial in Cormac's Cemetery.

<p>A Tribute to Betty Ryan</p> <p>Betty Ryan and her sisters were very kind to both my mother, to me and to my many friends and family. As an American visiting in Ireland beginning in 1967, her friendship over the years has meant a great deal to me. I'll miss her but the memories of her and of her kindnesses will linger on.
