GILLIGAN, Donal (Churchtown, Dublin 14) - September 19, 2010 (suddenly), cherished husband and best friend of Charlotte (Somers), devoted and adored dad of sons Michael, Joe and Finn and daughter Síofra Lamb, beloved son of Mary Gilligan and loving brother of Brendan, Patrick, Marie and Ann, loving son-in-law of Marie and Jim Somers, and much loved brother-in-law of Trisha Murphy, Mary Catherine, John and Paul Somers, Mel Kiernan, Scott Evans and Mark Foster; also greatly missed by his nieces and nephews and all his relations and dear friends. Funeral today (Friday) after 10 o'clock Mass in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown to Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold's Cross. Family flowers only please. Through the past year they have been an inestimable source of kindness and support. From far and wide the expressions of love and huge regard for Donal both personally and professionally continue to overwhelm us.
