BURNS - The wife and family of the late William Burns, Knockenree, Avoca, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their sad loss. Those who called to the house, sent letters, sympathy cards, Mass cards and floral tributes, all who attended the removal and funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Castlemacadam and those who travelled long distances and generously donated to St Vincent's University Hospital for cancer research. A special word of thanks to Rev Canon Roland Heaney, Rev Ted Ardis, Rev Canon David Muir and Rev Fr Eamon Crossan. Our thanks to the doctors and nursing staff of St Vincent's University Hospital for all their exceptional care of William during his illness. Many thanks to Peter Byrne Undertaker for all his help.
