MURPHY (Lawrence Cove, Bere Island) - On May 27, 2009, suddenly, Patrick J., Skipper of the "IKOM" Ferry to Bere Island, son of the late Brendan and Kitty. Beloved husband and best friend of Carol (née Brooks) and adored father of Katie and David. Sadly missed by his brothers Ned and Brendan, sisters Sara, Nora, Kitty and Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends. Removal from Harringtons Funeral Home, Castletownbere on Friday, May 29 at 5 p.m. to St Michael's Church, Bere Island. Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 30 at 12 Noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Ferries leaving Pontoon and Castletownbere on Saturday, May 30 at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m."May he rest in peace".
