O'BRIEN (David George) (July 27, 2005) (Bray, Co. Wicklow) - David's wife Dorothy, his daughters Suzanne, Heather and Alison, his mother May, his brothers Bruce, Ken and Paul and his extended family wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their very sad loss. Special thanks to our friends who loved and supported David during his long illness; to his work colleagues and to the doctors and nurses who cared for him, you gave him tremendous strength and comfort. Thank you to everyone who participated in an uplifting and wonderful funeral Service for David, especially our Rector Baden Stanley, Rev Ian Crookshank, our friend Rev Harry Leu and the outstanding Bray Choral Society and the choir of Christ Church, Bray; it truly was a marvellous tribute to a remarkable and special man. To all those who sent cards, Mass Cards and letters of sympathy to all of us, we thank you for sharing kind words and memories of David. Thank you to all who gave most generously to the Irish Cancer Society in memory of David. A special thanks to everyone who still helping us through this difficult time. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep gratitude."A bright light has gone out in
