WALSHE James (Maynooth, Co Kildare and Clongiffin, Longwood, Co Meath and formerly of Drumlargan, Kilcock, Co. Meath) - On the first anniversary of James's death, his loving wife Helen and children Stephen and Janice would like to thank all those who sympathised and offered support at the time of his illness and death on Easter Saturday, 2007. We would like to express our very deep gratitude to all of James' relatives and friends who telephoned, sent cards and holy relics, and who visited him, both at home, in the Mater Hospital and in Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross during his illness. Thanks to the medical staff who attended to James during his illness, especially Dr. John McCaffrey. We are extremely indebted to all those who attended James' Removal, funeral Mass and burial, and to the very many people who offered floral tributes, mass and sympathy cards, and who made contributions in James' name to Our Lady's Hospice. We are particularly grateful to those who travelled long distances to offer their sympathies. We would like to thank Monsignor Alex Stenson who celebrated James' funeral with sensitivity and thoughtfulness. We would particularly like to thank James' former colleagues in St David's CBS, Artane who came in such large numbers to his Removal and funeral Mass. Also, we are deeply appreciative of the assistance provided by James' neighbours and friends in Longwood, Co. Meath during his illness, and subsequently. In particular, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the many friends and colleagues who continue to offer their kindness and support. A memorial Mass will be held for James at 7pm on Saturday, April 12, in Coole Parish Church, Co. Meath.
