THORNTON (James) (Willville, Carlingford) (died December 7, 2005) - James's wife Margaret, sons Seamus and Martin, daughters Rosemary (Lowe), Eileen (Donnelly) and Joan (Kavanagh) and all his family wish to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with us in our recent sad loss. We extend our gratitude to all those who called to our house, telephoned, sent letters, Mass cards and flowers, and to those who joined us in the celebration of James's life at his funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to Fr McParland, P.P. and Fr McKeever, C.C., Cooley and to Fr Mac Raois, P.P., Carlingford for their kindness and help. We are particularly grateful to Dr McKeown and the staff of Carlingford Nursing Home for their wonderful care of James over the last two years of his life, and to the medical and nursing staff of Louth Co. Hospital, Dundalk who attended to him so well during his illness. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions as a token of our sincere appreciation.
