VAUGHAN (Dr. Edward, A.) (Ted) (Tullamore and formerly Hunting Hall, Casteltownroche, Co. Cork) - On the occasion of the first anniversary of Ted's death, 18 June 2009, we would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We would especially like to thank his friends, Dr John Taaffe, Mr Joe Hughes and Dr. Mick Lochrin (R.I.P.) for their friendship and help when Ted's health was failing. Thanks also to the members of Tullamore Rugby Club and Tullamore Golf Club: you all gave Ted many happy memories and good times that he always remembered. A particular word of gratitude to the nurses and staff of Riada House, Tullamore whose outstanding help and kindness helped all of us, especially Ted, during a difficult time. We were comforted by the Mass Cards and presence of all who attended at the funeral home and funeral mass in Mucklagh, many who had travelled a great distance. We again thank you for thinking of Ted, his wife and family: your presence and words of kindness were a source of solace to us at that time."He was a gentleman and a gentle man"
