CROWLEY

CROWLEY (Desmond) (Dublin journalist, formerly of Co. Cork) - August 18, 2008 (peacefully), in the Mater Hospital after a long illness, much loved husband of Susan, father of Karl, Jenny and Leo, grandfather to Jack and soon to be born baby Ballantyne, brother to Maureen, Kieran and the late Sean and Frank; sadly missed by them and by their families and partners. Thanks to the wonderful team at St. Vincent's Ward in the Mater for all the care and kindness over the years. Des has donated his body to the Royal College of Surgeons for medical research and so there will be no immediate funeral. A commemoration will be arranged in due course, for family, friends and colleagues to celebrate his life. In accordance with Des's beliefs, the family requests no religious cards or tokens.
