GLACKEN (Kenilworth Lane, Dublin 6 and formerly of The Irish Times and The Oireachtas) - February 16, 2009, surrounded by his family following an illness, borne with characteristic sense of the absurd, Brendan; he will be sadly missed by his wife Patricia (Trisha) McKay, daughter Ruth, sons Ross and Nick, his mother Peg, sisters Marita and Triona, brother Paul, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Brendan will be waked at home from 5 pm today (Wednesday). Removal tomorrow (Thursday) morning to the Church of St. Paul of The Cross, Mount Argus, arriving at 11.05 o'clock for 11.15 o'clock Mass, followed by interment, at Mount Jerome Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations in lieu to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross."Lodging under the same roof,
