DARCY, John (Sean), (Raheny, died November 8, 2009) - Madge, Brendan, Colm, daughters-in-law, Ciara and Carol, treasured grandchildren Ciara, Sarah (in Heaven), Emma and Conor wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the sad loss of Sean. Our thanks to all who attended the funeral in Our Lady Mother of Divine Grace Church Raheny, called to the house, sent cards and offered their condolences. In particular the support from the extended Darcy and Byrne families was greatly appreciated. Of special note was the daily support of Bernadette and Teresa (née Byrne). Carol Radic Darcy's exceptional efforts when attending to and caring for Sean is a proud memory the family will always treasure. We would also like to thank the nurses of Beaumont Hospital and those in the Hardwicke Ward and Palliative Care Service who cared for Sean throughout his long illness. Our thanks also to Father Pat O'Rourke of Raheny Parish. As it would not be possible to thank each person individually we would ask that this acknowledgement be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intention of all. Sean was a friend to all and your genuine support to the family is a testament to how highly he was regarded.
