HOWARD Michael, Claureen House, Ennis, Co. Clare, former member of Seanad Eireann, Clare Co. Council and President of the Vintners Federation of Ireland, peacefully at his residence, after a long illness borne with great faith, courage and dignity, beloved husband of the late Breda, loving father of Tom, Michael, Mary, Seamus, Elizabeth, Gearoid, Louise and Brid. Sadly missed by his family, grandsons Cathal, Ruairi and Tadgh, daughters-in-law Lilian, Maire-Ann and Finola, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and wonderful companion Elizabeth. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his home this (Wednesday) evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Removal at 8 o'clock to St Peter and Paul Cathedral, Ennis. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 12 o'clock Burial afterwards in Drumcliffe Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Cahercalla Hospice, Ennis.
